Hi there, I’m Andrea!

Brain surgery can really shake you up!  My emergency (and successful) craniotomy to remove a tumor and AVM, was a defining moment which propelled my focus towards health-promoting habits and longevity.  And when I learned how lifestyle choices play a bigger role than genetics when it comes to chronic diseases, I was empowered!  So I took to my little kitchen to take big control over my destiny.  Enjoying the rewarding culinary shift, I heated things up by earning a certification in professional plant-based cooking. Over 10,000 colorful, delectable, soul-satisfying and plant-powered meals later I’m feeling better than ever and excited to step things up even more.  I am SO ready to share my expertise in simple, tasty and healthful cooking, savvy shopping, time-saving tips and what tough crowds (and customers) love when it comes to plant-based dishes with those who crave that “extra” they deserve.  Is this you or your restaurant?  Let’s partner up and have some fun cooking up a more vibrant life!

Certified in Professional Plant Based Cooking by Rouxbe Cooking School, Andrea has presented for Philadelphia Magazine’s premiere event— Be Well Philly, the Free Library of Philadelphia, The American Vegan Center, workshops for Philly Dance Fitness and shown-off her cooking know-how with a very special Plant-Based Holiday Pop-up event at East Passyunk Avenue gem, Mr. Martino’s Trattoria.

Her inspiring story was filmed for AOL's In the Know series and she's also been featured in Philadelphia Magazine.  As a 20+ year video editor/producer television and content production veteran, she’s directed over 150 evidence-based nutrition videos for Nutritionfacts.org with its world-renown founder Dr. Michael Greger, & New York Times best-selling author of How Not To Die, How Not to Diet and How Not to Age.  She’s a plant-based consultant for restaurants and individuals with her company, Ingreened, and is a server in Philadelphia's nationally-lauded restaurant scene. There’s always something cooking in her South Philadelphia kitchen and her goal is to empower individuals to take control of their health destinies (like she does) through incorporating tantalizing and nourishing plant-based foods into their lives.
